About 18 months ago I discovered this foam packaging material that works like lino printing.
I usually draw a design on the foam using a sharp pencil or wooden skewer.
After that I choose a colour and roll the acrylic paint onto the foam etching.
Lastly ii press the foam onto paper or canvas and survey the result.
If I think it needs more detail I use a different colour and do a second and third print.
After each print I assess the artwork and stop if i deem it finished.
It is a quick and very rewarding technique.
