Information for Artists
Becoming an artist on Shop SALA is easy.
- Click the Sign Up / Login link at the top right of this page and then click the Sign Up button under the Artist Account section.
- Complete the fields and add a password, and then click the Sign Up button.
- You'll be sent an email asking you to verify your account. Click the link in that email.
- A browser page will open asking you to login. Enter your login details to access your artist dashboard.
- Follow the instructions to complete your profile.

Shop SALA is only open to visual artists residing in South Australia.
No, becoming a Shop SALA artist is free of charge.
We sell art in every genre, size, style and media. Artwork must be original pieces made by the seller. We do NOT accept:
Clothing
Merchandise
Homewares
We are a not-for-profit organisation. As part of our commitment to supporting the South Australian visual artists Shop SALA takes 20% (+GST) commission on sales and these funds are put back into the maintenance and promotion of the platform.
It's 100% free to list your artworks and we take a 20% (+GST) commission on point of sale.
Minimum artwork selling price is $50. All artwork must be original and or limited edition created by the artist.

When you add an artwork, you can indicate when and where it is being displayed. This applies all year round, not just during SALA Festival.

We do not have a photography service within Shop SALA. If you need a professional photographer to photograph your work please contact us and we can make a referral. We are happy to guide you in finding photographers working in South Australia.
