This painting was completed at Ray Loader's propertyy - Knott's Hill Farm near Willunga. I found beauty in the rich colours of the rusted metal machinery and the old car in the dump. Objects forgotten but special to a family are kept aside and gradually blend into the landscape. This car, once owned by Ray's wife Pam, reveals an endearing look into our past which we can identify with. Inspired by landscapes of the Fleurieu I enjoy the challenge of painting new and different subjects.
