Inside Out – Interiors plate no. 1

This plate is part of a new series called Inside Out which plays with notions of safety and comfort in the home with windows serving as a portals to the outside world. It has been handbuilt with white mid-fire clay, painted with slips and underglazes, carved and then fired to high temperatures. It is glazed on the top and is completely food safe. Please note: This piece is entirely handmade and it may have slight imperfections and irregularities. It has been made with a lot of love. To make sure it stands the test of time, treat it with care. I recommend hand washing and avoiding using it in the microwave as over time this may damage the piece.
