Nadine Jolley

I am an academically trained artist who has benefited from education and facilities at TAFE and University to enable me to explore techniques and establish my practice. From 2020 – 2023 I hosted open studio days at my home-based art studio on the Victorian Mornington Peninsula I valued this as an opportunity to see how the public would respond to my current work, largely as I was undertaking it, and this added an extra dimension of fluidity and change to my work at the time. A recent milestone for my work occurred in July 2022 when I was awarded a Residency – Gatekeepers cottage Point Nepean National Park, Portsea. This residency is in the grounds of the Point Nepean National Park in the Quarantine station. I recently celebrated my first solo exhibition, featuring the works I produced at the Quarantine Station and on the Mornington Peninsula. I have been energized by the positive response I received, there were so many supportive and encouraging comments, and strong sales.
