Luke Humphrys

Luke Humphrys, 18 years old from Mt Barker SA, is the creator of Rusty Recycle Art. Luke's business has evolved since conception in 2020 as a Yr 8 project, $20 Boss. Undertaken as part of the Entrepreneurial Stream at Heathfield High School, students were required to start a business with only $20. Over the past 4 years, Luke has learnt how to build his enterprise skills, focussing on key elements of entrepreneurship and learning how to make money creating positive social change. Both Luke's SALA exhibitions have been great successes. Over this period he has taught both his younger brother Riley, 16, and even his father Richard, to weld and now they both create garden art for Rusty Recycle Art.
