Where There is Hope

The Prayer Plant in my painting symbolises my gratitude and thanks for now having a wonderful and full life filled with love and hope for the future. Like so many people I love collecting, reading and writing in books and the book in my painting is a note book, filled with my ideas, inspirations for paintings and living and loving life. The lovely dog bookend is just one of the many favourite things I have either found, or been given and all are cherished and sometimes I include one in my painting. I love the inherent beauty, implied meanings and memories of collectables, antiques, loved and adored objects, such as figurines, plants, flowers, and other favourite things. I use oil paint for my Still Life paintings using a classic and traditional, realistic style of painting. I so much enjoy creating my paintings and I hope that you will find the joy in my artwork and thank you for taking the time to visit my artwork.
