This is a typical expressive piece that I paint intuitively after I've had a 'hard day in the office.'
The results sometimes surprise me. As this piece, is quite peaceful to look at, and be with.
I look at it and think about WATER: it is about things I've held inside, that are now able to trickle out, over the rocks... watering, adding life to the earth, and in a kind of transformation that leads to growth... and flourishing.
Having the opportunity, to be part of an artist community, and work in a studio space away from home, has contributed to the free-flowing energy I now feel in my life.
