Sun Setting is a highly textural piece, comprising of layers of acrylic and gel medium to highlight the landscapes features. Bright and bold colours are painted in a gradient travelling up the canvas and the varnish gives this piece a glow and shine. I was inspired by my many travels around Australia, but in particular the Barossa and vineyards.
