Ravi – Rising

Like a sunrise, Ravi rises from the darkest dawn in an explosion of colour. Re-emerging into the busy world after a period of isolation and healing can be difficult, but as the glow of a new day finally kisses your skin bringing hope instead of despair it can feel like a new day. My rising brings a new day. She is Art She Is Art (2024) is an empowering series that embraces an emerging feminine power and explores the strength of owning your emotional and physical identity. Created on Acrylic on Canvas in the artist’s home, She is Art is an evolving story of healing. If you look closely, there is a small moment you may have overlooked, their eyes are closed. This little detail is to recognise the far too many women who STILL cannot look upon the world with the same freedom and rights as we do here in Australia.
