'Notes on buffel grass' is a singular work made in Pukatja while the artist was working in a supportive role at the Pukatja/Ernabella Arts Centre. This work explores feelings and entanglements with buffel grass (an introduced species dominant in the landscape surrounding this location), plastic and discomfort. An upside-down rubbish bin is a pedestal for buffel grass and is supported by a politely posed body against a backdrop of plastic bags.
