The large hand built 'MINOTAUR' planter has images of the mythical story of Thessius, Ariadne and the fabled Minotaur decorated on each side in relief and glaze. It is free standing and contains a live cactus. Made from Bennetts terra cotta the rich red fired clay contrasts with the images from the myth in black and relief , also with the bright green of the cactus. Best used as an outdoor focus, it can also be set indoors near a sunny window over winter. A contemporary take on the myth, made with the traditional use of terra cotta like most ancient Greek pottery.
