'Matrix #2' from the series 'Body Writing #2' was made during 2021. Photographs in this series continue to explore personal lineage through surreal and absurd performative photography. Imaginatively staged scenes reference the Limestone Coast of South Australia; a place which holds significance to the artists matrilineal histories. A watery scene and a sculptural object comprised of a limestone block, draped with a permeable soft object and covered with a sheet of semi-transparent blue material appears in a portrait format.
