A large handmade planter made with Bennetts terra cotta. Decorated on the front and two sides in relief with figures of dogs from ancient Egypt and Rome. The back has two side extensions with painted portraits in the style of old friezes. It is planted with a healthy agave. Free standing, the rear is flat and can be placed against a wall. Prefers to be outside as an addition to other garden art. The relief figures have been painted with black oxide and rubbed back before firing to give an aged appearance to the piece.
