This artwork was created last year on Kaurna land in Angas Street.
It was created after I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in early 2023.
This painting was part of my way of processing and accepting my diagnosis and moving onto a place where I could continue to experiment with my artwork and flourish.
Plants and trees provide grounding and healing for humans throughout their lives and I find the I am drawn to spend time under trees watching their gentle dance.
I am very drawn to plants especially Australian flora and these often feature in my paintings. In this artwork i have printed some eucalyptus leaf patterns over the last layer.
