Blue – Pride

Blue wants you to live our truth, in full colour. Being true to our souls can be difficult, not every path is easy or even safe. I know when I finally felt comfortable living within my truth, my world changed. In creating Blue, I wanted to remind those who see her that when they can love who they really are, they will be free. She is Art is an evolving story of healing. Each stroke is imbued with the artist's pain, joy and peace. Working intuitively the artist allowed her emotions to guide the colours and forms, breathing life into each piece and revealing the strong women within the collection. If you look closely, there is a small moment you may have overlooked, their eyes are closed. This little detail is to recognise the far too many women who STILL cannot look upon the world with the same freedom and rights as we do here in Australia and beyond.
