Sue Curnow

I am a local hills resident living in Aldgate. My creative interest led me to a local art group in the Adelaide hills over 8 years ago where I’ve learnt some of the basics and taken inspiration and continue to evolve, learn, and enjoy the experience. I have explored different styles and mediums. I then started taking photos and became interested in the way the light falls on the landscape at different times of the day and tried to capture special scenes to present on canvas. I have been fortunate in recent years to have exhibited my work in Rotary Art shows and local cafes around the Adelaide hills. I find art to be a love hate relationship where sometimes a piece will take what seems forever before it tells you that its finished, and then other times it all happens so quick that it takes you by surprise. Overall, it becomes a passion which you can get lost in for hours at a time, it has made me look at everything around me with very different eyes.
