Sally-Ann Arnold

Painting is my passion in life. Sally's style is painterly, figurative, impressionistic and expressionistic. Big brushes and palette knives and even spray paint at times. Beauty is her goal, quality of light is everything and that is where Sally finds her inspiration. Glowing light gives her paintings mood and feeling. Subject matter is varied portraiture, trees, seascapes, and landscapes. Prolific artist, a child prodigy with over 40 years experience. 1981 Studied Portraiture under controversial subject of the Archibald Portrait Prize and Fine Artist - Joshua Smith. 1985 Completed one year of a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree, Queensland. 2023 Adelaide Parklands Art Prize Finalist 2022 Gallery One Smallacombe Portrait Prize Finalist 2021 Unley Council Art Prize Finalist 2019 Don Dunstan Award Finalist Sally strictly paints from her own photos and drawings, all work is original and unique.
