Rebecca Whittemore

Rebecca is a distinguished visual photomedia artist with a Master of Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work has been showcased globally. Originally from Mt Laurel, New Jersey, Rebecca now resides in Adelaide, Australia. Her contributions to the arts include being a finalist for the Gallery M Contemporary Art Prize in 2024 and 2023, as well as the Josephine Ulrick & Win Schubert Photography Award in 2012. She has also received the Independent Makers and Presenters Project Grant from Arts SA and the Latent Image Award at the SALA Festival. Rebecca Whittemore's art explores the intersection of nature and human-made objects, offering a fresh perspective on our surroundings.. As a photomedia artist, Rebecca employs photomontages, traditional and digital photography, and scanograms, seamlessly merging traditional and contemporary techniques.
