Kendrea Rhodes is a visual artist, writer, psychiatric survivor, and creative practice doctoral researcher at Flinders University in Adelaide. Kendrea's artworks are modes of storytelling, seeking alternative ways to express issues of the past and present, with an eye to impacting the future of mental distress. Kendrea is an interdisciplinary artist using mixed media methods including oil paint, ink, watercolour, digital art, video, audio and photography. Kendrea acknowledges Peramangk and Kaurna peoples, the traditional custodians of the lands and stories where she works and lives.
