Welcome to my artistic world, where each brushstroke is a reflection of emotion, memory, and meaning. My journey to art began after years in the legal profession in Adelaide, where artistic creativity took a back seat but never left my heart. From 2020, I was finally able to embrace art, particularly painting and do so with passion, exploring watercolours, acrylics, and mixed media and through inspiring teachers at mainly Central School of Art, WEA and community centres. My work draws deeply from personal experiences and childhood memories; of feeling like an observer but not part of a vast, swirling universe. Through my landscapes I find ways to express those inner spaces. The small houses that appear in many of my pieces are symbols of warmth and belonging. A sanctuary amidst life’s chaos.
